BEHIND THE SHIELD

The Ironmen are one of professional paintball’s foundational names, with roots in Northern California woodsball and a championship identity that has survived every major format change in the sport. Generations of iconic players carried the shield through the NPPL, PSP, and NXL eras, while the modern Los Angeles program remains closely tied to DYE and Victory Paintball Park. Coaches Michael Paxson and Shane Pestana now lead a rebuilt roster that blends Ironmen-developed talent with proven attackers arriving from several of the league’s strongest programs.
